Guinness is 12 years old and I can't remember what I did before he came into my life.
It must have been rather boring considering!!
He was not an easy puppy (the house inspection for damage became a daily ritual), but he has
matured into a fantastic "gentleman" of a dog and has enriched the lives of so many just by knowing
him. Thanks to Carol for letting me have the pleasure of his company.
His favourite thing is to "tell me a story". His "talking" has been confused with growling but we can
hold a great conversation.
Through Guinness I began my love of flyball and even after he was retired from competition a few
years ago with his "Flyball Dog Champion" title, I have still continued to Judge the sport and Guinni still enjoys coming along to competitions as a spectator.
He is beginning to show his age (arthritis in the back legs, increasingly deaf and a bit forgetful at times) but is still enjoying life (although a bit slower than he was!!!).
